Tim founded Abbey Hill Financial Advisors, LLC in 2003 as an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm to serve clients objectively, providing guidance free from conflicts of interest and full disclosure of costs.

Tim has spent over 25 years serving clients as a Fiduciary, continuously researching to find the most effective and efficient solutions for client goals.  His focus is on long term relationships, implementing comprehensive financial plans for clients in pursuit of financial independence.

His investment management expertise is in structuring Evidence Based portfolios that provide excellent long term returns while managing risk and costs.

Tim earned his MBA in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.  He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.   He is a Certified Financial Planner™ .

He has been a consultant to Fortune 500 financial services companies and has taught Continuing Education classes to financial services professionals in his areas of expertise.

Tim has volunteered his time by serving on the Minnetonka Park Board, Boy Scouts, church activities and as a youth coach for Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Football, Hockey and Soccer. 

He enjoys hiking, biking, pickleball, skiing, golf and relaxing with a good spy novel.
